As Head of Content & Editorial, I led The Midst’s editorial strategy, voice and programming—shaping what we covered, how we covered it and how the work reached our audience. From daily editorial and newsletters to original series and live events, I helped turn the realities of midlife into smart, candid content built around women’s actual lives.
EDITORIAL
Beauty & Wellness Editor → Head of Content & Editorial
I joined The Midst as Beauty & Wellness Editor and was promoted to Head of Content & Editorial, taking responsibility for the entire editorial operation. I set content strategy and managed the editorial calendar; assigned, wrote and edited stories; directed staff and freelance writers; sourced imagery; and managed publishing from pitch through final post.

I extended The Midst’s editorial point of view into live programming, developing events around the issues our audience was already reading and talking about. I helped shape the concepts and programming, developed panels and speakers, managed production, and stepped onstage as a moderator—turning editorial conversations into experiences women could participate in.

I led editorial for BeWell, The Midst’s newsletter—setting the content mix, writing and editing each edition, and using it to turn readers into a returning audience. Under my editorial leadership, the newsletter grew to 10,000+ subscribers, helping The Midst build an audience of 100,000+ monthly readers.
